Early Years Foundation Stage
The Early Years Foundation Stage become mandatory on 1st September 2008 in all early years settings. The EYFS will ensure that all under fives in childcare benefit from a safe, secure and happy stimulated environment where they can play and develop.
At Rainbow Day Nursery we take steps to ensure we meet the learning and development requirements and also comply with the welfare requirements.
Our main aims of the EYFS is to help young children achieve the 5 outcomes of every child matters
- Being Healthy
- Staying Safe
- Enjoy and Achieve
- Making a Positive Contribution
- Achieve Economic Well Being
There is an emphasis on children learning through interaction with people and exploring the world around them. EYFS identifies the individuality, efforts and achievements of children and recognises that learning and development take place during each different activity, encouraging them to be lifelong learners and allowing them to develop to their full potential.
Our day care nursery offers a wide variety of experiences so that your child can develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically.
